This certifies that L. E. Whitham & Company has completed the h`I
paving and otherwise improving of Twelfth Street in the City of liy ichita

Falls, Texas, from its intersection with the west property line of Lamar
Street to its intersection with the west line of Broad Street'
property
in said city, with the exception of that portion of said street directly '
abutting lot 1, blk 20.7, Original Townsite of said city, which latter
portion has been delayed b process of law, all of said improvements

being constructed and laid in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations prepared therefor and I hereby recommend the acceptance of the
above described work, with the provision that the said lot 1 in said
block, owned of record by Mary L. Hendrick be not accepted at this time,
but that said contractor shall have express authority to improve said
property by virtue of the proceedings of and contract with the said
city, applicable to the original described portion of said street,
