Min 07/01/1927The Board of Alderman of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
called session at 2 o 1 clock P . M. on the above date with the following
members present:
R. E. Shepherd, Mayor

W, E. McBroom, City Clerk
Moved by Alderman King that the sewerage treatment works
constructed by Callahan.. Whitham and McFarland be accepted and
the City Clerk be instructed to draw warrant on the sewer bond
fund in the amount of $30,1361.75 to cover payment of final estimate
on this job.
Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried.
Moved by Alderman Curd that the following expense accounts of
officials on the trip to Austin in connectin with fire insurance rates
be approved and allowed:
J. L. McClure $23*20
R. E. Shepherd 20.88
P. B. Curd 20.88
Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the City Clerk be instructed to
draw warrant in the amount of $40.00 payable to the Texas League
of Municipalities covering membership dues for the year beginning
July 1, 1927, ending June 300 1928.
Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried.
Loved by Alderman Jones that the application for a license
to operate a domino parlor at by 0- Tindington
be referred to the Police Comm s onea r,oy Car er.
Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the Mayor be authorized to execute
note to L. E. Whitham and Company in the amount of $536.08 payable
April 15, 1928 to cover balance due on paving constructed on(7th.
Street abutting the Seventeenth Street Fire Station.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried.
