Loved by Alderman Jones that the Building Inspector be
authorized to issue a permit to the Wichita Home Ice Company for the
construction of an ice storage room on Lot 7, Blocy, 50, Maer Subdiv-
ision, Block 260 Original Townsite, near the corner of Ninth Street
and Brook Avenue.
Motion seconded by Alderman hunt and carried.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the Mayor be authorized to
execute a quitclaim deed to clear title as to delinquent taxes on
Lots 5, 6 and 7. Block 24, Original Townsite.
Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried.
Moved by Alderman King that the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with the Texas Electric Service Company for furnish-
ing power and lights to the City for a period of 5 years.
Motion seconded by Alderman Carter and carried.
Moved by Alderman Curd that the Mayor be authorized to
execute contract with the Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel Tank Company for
the construction of a 500,000 gallon storage tower on the Marlow tract
recently purchased by the city.
