The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met
in regular called session at 3:00 o'clock P. 11. on the above date
with the following members present:
R. E. Shepherd, mayor,

W. E. McBroom, City Clerk.
Moved by Alderman Curd that the contract for the construction
of a storm sewer on Sixth Street from Bluff to Broad and on Broad Street
from Sixth to Eighth Streets be awarded to Pendergrast & Company, con-
tractors, on their bid of §6,477.21 for vitrified tile and brick storm
sewer complete.
Motion seconded by Alderman King and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hunt that the Street Department be author-
ized to purchase lot 12, Block A, Stehlik & Baber Addition to be used
in opening up Twenty Eifth Street, at a cost of �850.00 to be paid as
follows:
W. M. Priddy 4432.40
Mattie Lee Horn 417.60

Yotion seconded by Alderman King and carried.
Moved by Alderman Curd that Commissioner King be authorized
to negotiate with J. Caruthers for the purchase of a private sewer
main. serving portions of 'Tenth Street and Westlake Drive.
Motion seconded by Alderman Carter and carried.
Moved by Alderman aunt that the Sewer Department be author-
ized to purchase approximately feet of server pipe from IM." Davis
at a cost of �200.00.
Motion seconded by Alder:an King and carried.
Moved by Alderman Curd that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman bunt and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
