The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: R. E. Shepherd, Mayor, J. W. Hunt, ) P. B. Curd, ) J. H. Patton, ) Aldermen, Ural Jones, ) crank Queisser,) W. E. McBroom, City Clerk, W. E. George, City Attorney. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Moved by Alderman Hunt that J. E. Dobson be permitted to establish a root beer stand near the corner of Eleventh & Burnett Streets and be permitted to break the curb for a distance of 100 feet from the Alley between Austin and Burnett Streets provided he enter into contract with the City for replacement at his expense of the curb when the root beer stand is removed. Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried. Moved by Alderman Curd that the City Attorney be instructed to notify the Fort Worth & Denver City Railway to rearrange their crossing on Park Street to conform to the paving recently constructed. Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried. Gentlemen: - This certifies that the West Texas Construction Company has completed the paving and otherwise improving of Tenth Street from its intersection with the M. K. T. Railway Company tracks to its inter- section with the East property line of Indiana Avenue, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor and I hereby recommend the acceptance of the above described work. Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried. Moved by Alderman Jones that the Tax Collector be instructed to reduce the valuation of Lots 3 and 4, Block 35, Floral Heights Addition for the year 1926 from 41540.00, full valuation, to �500.00.
