The Board of aldermen of the City of ;;ichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: J. F! . Akin, I,Sayor, Oral Jones, Q J. H. Patton, Q A. W. King, Q Aldermen, Roy E. Carter, Q J. '�+ . Hunt, Q G. D. Fairtrace, City manager, L;. E. McBroom, City Clerk, Thelbert Martin, City Attorney. The IQinutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. roved by Alderman Patton that the City I,Zanager be authorized and instructed to refund proraty portion of plumbers renewal license fees paid since January 1st, 1928, in orde that all plumbers license pay- ments may be made on an equal basis, due to the fact that the renewal license fee was reduced from 4r50.00 to 4e.5.00 on October 29th, 1928. I?otion seconded by Alderman King and carried unanimously. An ordinance repealing No. 830 passed and approved on the 25th day of September, i. D.,, 1926, being entitled: "An ordinance regulating building lines for residence and business buildings in residential sections of tiiichita Falls, Texas, was read, and after dis- cussion the following motion was put in order: .,loved by :alderman King that the ordinance be rejected and tabled. Lotion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried unanimously. 'oved by Alderman Jones that the plat and dedication of the ubdivision of Block B, Tract No. 2, Scotland Gardens Adaition in the City of ',;ichita Falls, be approved. Lotion seconded by Alderman Carter and carried unanimously. ORDINANCE NO.1008 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND ENFORCEMENT OF ALL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS. Moved by Alderman Hunt that Ordinance No. 1008 be passed on its f irst reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Hunt, Jones, Patton, Carter and King. Nays: None. an roved by Alderman Hunt that the claim for adjustment of taxes filed by Harry Weeks for the W. T. Grant Company in the year 1926 be referred to the City Manager and Tax Assessor for investigation and recommendation. !;lotion seconded by Alderman King and carried unanimously. Moved by Alderman Hunt that the tax rolls for the year 1928 carrying Real Estate Values of 041,945,820, and Personal Property values of 49,967,880, making total of ;N51,913,700 with taxes to be realized of �;726,701.72 be approved. ,.otion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried unanimously.
