The tlinutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The above ordinance was read and discussed after which the
following motion was put in order:

its second reading.

Lioved by Alderman Carter that the petition of property owners
for the opening up of an alley through Lots 4 and 5, Skinner Addition,
be referred to the City Manager for a statement as to estimated cost
of land necessary for the opening of this alley.

LIVE DOAESTIC FOWLS OR POULTRY 'OvITHIN A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF u:ICHITA FALLS; ALSO REQUIRING PERSONS ENGAGED IN
THE TRADE, BUSINESS OR OCCUPATION OF WHOLESALE DEALERS OF LIVE DOI;:ESTIO
FOWLS OR POULTRY, TO CARRY ON SUCH BUSINESS, TRADE OR OCCUPATION IN THE
WHOLESALE DISTRICT AS HEREIN DEFINED, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
After reading and discussing the above ordinance, the follow-
