Moved by Alderman Hunt that the application of Jack Humphrey for a Filling Station and Skating Rink in the Stock Yards Addition be referred to the City ';tanager with full authority to act. RESOLUTION ViHEREAS, Lot Number Ten (1U) in Block Number Eleven (11) of the J. A. Kemp Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, was sold for the city taxes for the years 1892 and 1893, as shown by tax deeds from A. D. Anderson Collector to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, recorded in Book C pages b31 and o71, to which reference is made, and WHEREAS, all delinquent taxes due the City of Wichita Falls on said property have been paid, and it has been requested by the owners of said property that the City of Wichita Falls execute and deliver its quit -claim deed to the property to remove the cloud to the title thereto. i'OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of 'V7ichita Falls in regular session this 28th day of May, 1928, that the Mayor of Wichita Falls, ::!r. J. 6'. Akin, be and is hereby authorized and in- structed to execute said deed and that same be attested by the City Clerk. Ioved by Alderman Carter that due to the fact that the building was burned on Lot 3, Block 3, South Park Addition, on January lst, 1923, that assessed taxable value on this property be reduced from �750.00 to Q140.00.for the years 1923 and 1924. Jarvis for a permit to construct and operate a swimming pool on Block 8, Kemp and Newby Subdivision be referred to City I!Iunager for investigation and report.
