The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: Roy E. Carter, Q J. l°Y . Hunt, Q A. lu. King, Q Aldermen, Oral Jones, Q J. H. Patton, Q ll. E. McBroom, City Clerk, Thelbert Martin, City Attorney. Moved by Alderman Carter that Alderman Jones be appointed Mayor Pro-tem to act during the absence from the City of PIayor J. VI. Akin. Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried by the fol- lowing vote: Yeas: Aldermen Carter, Patton, King and Hunt. Nays: None. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and a.pprobed. Moved by Alderman Patton that the Water Department be author- ized and instructed to give P. B. Cox credit for 0802.00, which represents the coat of a sewer line built. by Mr. Cox in 1922 on Santa Fe Avenue to serve his residence. The cost of said line being paid in full by P. B. Cox. Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried. Roved by Alderman Hunt that the tax valuation on Lot 7, Block 13, Southland Addition, for the year 1926 be reduced by one- half on account of this property being, transferred to the Episcopal Church in the middle of the year.
