The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

Thelbert Martin, City Attorney.
The 1kinutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman Curd that R. Cleveland be allowed a permit
to construct a Drive-in Filling Station on Lot 1, Block 168, Original
Townsite.

'loved by Alderman Hunt that the time for moving gasoline pumps
now located on the curb between Seventh Street and Tenth Street and the
alley between Lamar and Travis Streets and the Wichita Valley Railway
tracks be extended to October lst, 1928, provided however that this ex-
tension shall not apply to pumps not in use on this date.
Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried.
Loved by Alderman Carter that J. A. Lamance be granted a per-
mit to install a curb gasoline pump on Lot 8, Bloc,: 19, Original Town -
site, being Number 412 Jefferson Street, provided said J. A. Lamance
shall nold the City of Wichita Falls harmless from any damage that may
arise from the operation of said curb pump and that said pump will be
removed at any time ordered by the Board of Aldermen.

Moved by Alderman Curd that the full value of the building
located on one-half of Lot 4 and all of Lot 3, Block 185, Original
Townsite, be reduced from 42,600.UO to 41,509.00 for the year 19L7,
and taxes on over -valuation be remitted.

_f Moved by Alderman Jones that D. H. Whitehill be granted a per-
mit to use ten feet of the alley in the rear of the Culberson Building
located at the corner of Seventh and Travis Streets until June 1, 1926,
for the purpose of storing building material.

The public hearing with reference to the closing of that
portion of Fifteenth Street lying between the East 1�4e„gf_.Scott Avenue
and the 'Vichita Valley Railway was called and after hearing no protests, the
following motion was put in order:
Moved by Alderman Hunt that the hearing be closed.

AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF FIFTEENTH STREET
LYING BETWEEN THE EAST LINE OF SCOTT AVENUE AIM THE WICHITA VALLEY

its first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman King and carried by the following
vote:

1,doved by Alderman Curd that the estimate of - H. Lyon in the
amount of �880.95 covering construction of sidewalks in front of the
Memorial Auditorium be approved and allowed.

AN ORDINANCE ;MENDING SECTION 24 AND ADDING SECTION 16-A TO ORDINANCE
NUMBER 340, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS ON THE TENTH DAY OF JANUARY, A. D. 1921, BEING AN
ORDINANCE CREATING THE EXAMINING AND SUPERVISING BOARD OF PLUMBERS,
DESIGNATING THE MEMBERS THEREOF, PRESCRIBING THEIR TOWERS AND DUTIES
AND TERM OF OFFICE; PROVIDING FOR LICENSING OF PLUMBERS, ETC., AND
REGULATING PLUMBING WORK.
