The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

After careful consideration of the bids of the Geo. L. Simpson Company
and William R. Compton Company, the following motion was put in order:

Moved by Alderman hunt that the contract to purchase 41�/,'
refunding bonds to the amount of 461,000. be awarded to Geo. L. Simpson
& Company of Dallas, Texas, on their bid of ;;61,310. with expenses paid
by them.
I:,otion seconded by Alderman Carter and carried.
Moved by _,lderman Curd that the mayor be authorized to sibn
a contract with the Texas -Oklahoma Fair Association for the purchase
of the ;,titer System owned by the Fair Association at a cost of 415,000.
less approximately 49,985. due the City for water furnished to the Pair
Association.

Moved by ,lderman ding that the tlayor be authorized to appoint
the following committee to investigate the claim of i.irs. aary Brown
for damages due to the death of Jesse E. Brown who was <cilled in the
boiler room of the Auditorium at 11:50 A. M. January 25th, 1928:
