The Board of Aldermen of the City of 7.'ichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

Moved by Alderman Patton that Alderman Harvey be appointed
Mayor Protem to act during the absence from the city of Mayor J.
Akin.
Motion seconded by Al der roan Hunt and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Patton, Hunt and Spoonts.
Nays: None.
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved,
The hearing with reference to the application of J. H.
Allison f cr a permit to construct and operate a gasoline filling
station on Lot 1, Block 38, Flar al Heights Addition, was called, and,
after hearing the protests of A. B. Maples, I.E. Cowling, F. P. Avis,
George Hovrery, o. J. Wilson represented by L. E. Cowling, C. H. Clark,
o. L. 'hockley, W. A. McCarty, A. H. Herron represented by A. �.
TVIaples, H. S. Ford represented by F. P. Avis, the following motion was
put in order:
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the hearing be continued
until 7 : 30 P. M. December 23rd, 1929,
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hunt that the proposed ordinance granting
the Fort Worth & Denver City Railway Coma ny a right of way crossing
on North Broadway for a s t and and gauge spur track be referred to the
City engineer for investigation and report.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
The personal injury claim of W. _k . Pratt was filed and after
discussion it was agreed that Mayor Protem Harvey be authorized to ap -
point. the following commission to hear evidence and report in accordance
with the terms of Section 139 of the City Charter:
