Moved by Alderman Hunt that a section be added to Ordinance
No. 1031 to provide for changing the name of Arkansas Street to Burk-
burnett Road and that said ordinance be -passed on its third and final
reading in its amended form.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried by the fol-
lcwving vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Hunt, Spoonts and Patton.
Nays: None,
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the City Manager be instructed
to investigate the taxable value placed on the property located at 1905
Collins Avenue and report to the next meeting of the City Council.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried,
Moved by Alderman Patton that the application of J. H. Allison
for a permit to erect and operate a gasoline filling station on Lot 1,
Block 36, Floral Heights Addition, being the SoutIv est Corner of Tenth
and Taylor Streets, be received and a public hearing be ordered held at
7 : 3o P. M. December 16th, 1929, for the purp os a of hearing protests,
