The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The I,.'-inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Ald er man Hunt that pursuant to a petition of pro-
test filed by property owners on McGregor Avenue between Blocks 1
and 2 of the Ed Wilson Addition and Blocks B and C of the Tyatt
Addition, the portion of Ordinance No. 1031 providing for changing
the name of this part of McGregor to Twenty-fifth Street, be stricken
out. .
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE Ng E OF ARDATH STREET, LYING BE-
TWEEN BLOCK "B" OF THE STEHLIK & BABER SUBDIVISION AND BLOCKS 24 AID
25 OF THE MILLER SUBDIVISION, T4 TWENTY-FIFTH STREET; MILLER STREET
IN THE C AS pE R ADDITION, TO TWENTY -SIXTH STREET; W ILS 0 N AVENUE, LYING
BETWEEN BLOC KS 2 AND 3 OF THE ED W ILSON ADDITION AND BLOC KS "C" and
MD" OF THE WYATT ADDITION, TO TWENTY-SECOND STREET; AND NAR' ING THE
UNNAMED STREET LYING BETWEEN THE R OHATCH ADDITION ANID THE COUNTRY
CLUB ESTATES WEST OF HARIIJSO N STREET, AVENUE "M" , AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY*
Moved by Alderman Hunt that Ordinance No. 1031 be passed
on its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts aid carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Hunt, Spoonts and McCutchen .
Nays: None,
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that Dan Boone be grant ed a permit to
erect and operate a gasoline filling station on the Southwest corner of
Seventh and Broad Streets.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hunt that the City Manager be instructed to
investigate the assessed value placed on Lots 11 and 12, Block 70, Floral
Heights Addition, owned by Mrs. Parmenter, , and report back at the next
meeting,
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the City Clerk be authorized to
issue a domino parlor license to F. H. Kelly and N. Douglas :f' or the
operation of a domino parlor at 706 Ohio Avenue.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hunt that the Pioneer Refiners Company be
granted a permit to install a gasoline filling station at 2514 Tenth
Street.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCut ch en and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the City Attorney be permitted
to attend the City Attorneys' Association convention to be held in Galves-
ton on December 6th and 7th.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hunt that the meeting be adjourned..
Motion seconded by Alderman McCut ch en and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
