The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
N session on the above date with the following members present:
J. W . Akin, gayor,
J. w. Hunt, X
C . E. McCut chen,
J. 11. Spoonts, Aldermen,
J. H. Patton, X
R. 0. Harvey,
G. D. Fai rtrace, City Manager.
W. E. McBro om, City Clerk,
Thelber t Martin, City Attorney.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the Gulf Refining Company
e given permission to erect a sign between the sidewalk and curb
at Fifteenth and Lamar Streets prodded however that the said Gulf
Refining Company shall hold the city of Wichita Falls harmless from
any damage that may arise from the erection of said sign, and said
sign shall be removed by the Gulf Refining Company when so ordered
by the Board of Ald ermen.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCut chen and carried,
Moved by Ald er man McCutc hen that the City Manager be
granted leave of absence to attend the International City Managers'
Association meeting to be herd in Fort Worth November 20 th to 23rd,
1929 .
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried.
The Board of Aldermen them adjourned,
