regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman Hunt that the application of W. B. Logue,
an employee of the Police Department, for an increase in salary be
ref errred to the City bianager. .
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
ORDINANCE NO 1028
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF AN ELECTION IN
THE CITY OF WI CHITA FAILS. TEXAS, FCR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO
THE QUALIFIED VOTERS CF SAID CITY, WHO ARE PROPERTY TAX PAYERS
THEREIN, A PROPOSITION FOR THE ISSUANCE OF B OM S CF SAID CITY IN
TBE AMOUNT OF �19400, 000.00, FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING FMS TO
CONSTRUCT IMPROVIIiENTS AND EXTENSIONS TO THE PRESENT SYSTEM OF
WATERWORKS TO P RU VID E AN ADEQUATE Alm AVAILABLE WATER SUPPLY AND
PLANT FOR SAID CITY, AND LEVYING A TAX ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY IN
SAID CITY TO PAY THE PRI NC I PAIL AND INTEREST OF SAID BONDS, AND DE-
CLAJU NO AN EMERGENCY*

` Moved by Alderman Hunt that the City Manager be authorized
to execute a contract jointly with the County authorities with the
Texas Electric Service Company for furnishing light and power to the
Wichita General Hospital for a period csf five years.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.

Droved by Alderman Hunt that the City Manager be authorized to
adjust the taxable value for the year 1927 placed on the North 50 ft. of
Lots 18 and 19, Block 6, West Side Highland Addition, to the same amount
as placed on this property f ctr the year 1928.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
Moved by Alderman Patton that the meeting be adjourned.
