Min 05/20/1929662 Wichita Falls, Texas, Memorial Auditorium Building, May 2 0 th , 19299 The Board cf Alderman of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: J. W. Akin, Mayer, J. M. Spoonts, R. 0. Harvey, J. W. Hunt, Aldermen, C. E. McCutchen, G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager, W. E. Mc Broom, City Clerk, The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Bids for the purchase of 4000' of Fire Hose were opened, tabulated and referred to the City Manager for necessary action. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the replatting of Block 2 of the nest Side Addition to the Flc ral Heights Addition as surveyed by John A. Donald, County Surveyor of Wichita County, Texas, on March 30th, 1929, be approved, Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried. ORDINANCE NO 1022 AN ORDINANCE AMENDINC; SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2419 PASSED AND APPFOVIED ON THE 1ST DAY OF MARCH, A. D. 1927 ; SUCH AMEND- MENT PROVIDING THAT SECTIONS 4 AND 59 OF SAID ORDINL W E SHALL NOT APPLY TO WHOLESAIE DEALERS IN PRODUCE, FRUITS, AND VEGETABLES, WHERE SAIM ARE CONTAINED IN UNOPEN CRATES, BASKETS, ETC. J11M WHEN SUCH PRODUCE IS BEING DELIVERED. Moved by Alderman Hunt that Ordinance No. 1022 be passed on its first reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey a raft carried by the fo 1- lawing vote: Yeast Aldermen Hunt, Harvey, Spoonts and McCutchen. Nays: None �1 4 Moored by Alderman Harvey that the total value on Caruthers Sub- division of Lot 5, Block 65A, Highland Addition, being House No,, 1508 Bell Street, be reduced to $1,800.00 full value for the years 1927 and 1928, and the taxes on overvaluation be remitted, Motion seconded and Alderman Hunt and carried.
