Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried* moved by Alderman ,eatton that Ralph Pond be granted a per- mit for the installation of a 9,000 gallon gasoline storage tank in the rear of house No. 1414 Sibley Avenue* motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried• The following ordinance was introduced by Alderman carter: ORDINANCE NOa1018 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING PARAGRAPHS (a),, AS AMENDED BY ORDI- NANCE 976; (f) AND (g) OF SECTION 38, uF ORDINANCE N0. 9589 PASSED AND APPRUVED THE 2812H DAY OF NOVEMBER A* D. 19270 ENTITLED "AN ORDI- NANCE REGULATING TRAVEL AND TRAFFIC UPON THE STREETS OF W ICHITA FALLS, TEAS; REGULATING THE USE OF SUCH STREETS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES", SO AS TO HEREAFTER ALLOW UNLIMITED PARKING ON THE STREETS 21EN ' IONED IN SAID PARAGRAPH (a) , OF SECTION 38 , AS AMENDED* .� _ _ _ _ _ _ moved by Alderman carter that the above described ordinance be passed on its first reading* motion seconded by Alderman Patton and failed to carry by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Carter and Patton.
