The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:
Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor
C. E. McCutchen,
E. H. Eddleman, X
J. N. Prothro, Y Aldermen
R. 0. Harvey, Z
J. M. Spoonts, X
G. D. Fairtrace, City Yanager
W. E. PT_cBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert martin, City Attorney
The :.:inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
A committee from the Womanfs Forum and Parent -Teachers
Association appeared before the Council requesting that additional
safety devices be placed at railroad crossings on Hollida Brook,
Harrison and Taft Streets.,for the purpose of warning the ;ublic
of approaching trains.
After a thorough discussion, it was announced by the I.:ayor
that the matter would be given careful consideration by the Council.
Moved by Aldermen Eddleman that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
