The Board of Aldermen cf the City cf Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:
Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor
R. 0. Harvey, j
E. H. Eddleman, X
J. N. Prothro, X Aldermen
C. E. McCutchen, j
J. M. Spoonts, Z
G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, City Attorney
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the City Manager be auth-
orized to make settlement with D. W. Gambill for alleged damaged to
his dairy business by reason of by-passing sewage through Holliday
Creek.
Motion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried.
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that the City Clerk be authorized
to issue a license to E. L. Smith for the operation of a public domino
parlor at 707 Scott Avenue.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that the application of H. Leland
Smith for a permit to place a curb gasoline pump on the corner of
Flood and Park Streets be referred to the City Manager with authority
to act.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.
ORDINANCE NO.1043
AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES AND AUTHORITY OF THE
CHIEF OF POLICE AND ALL POLICE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF W ICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS.
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that Ordinance No. 1043 be passed
on its first reading.
~ Motion seconded by Alderman TcCutchen and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Eddleman, McCutchen, Prothro, Harvey &, Spoonts.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
