"'he Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Yinutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The public hearing with reference to the application of
Mrs. A. H. Hudgins to operate a grocery store in her home at 2103
Fillmore Street was called, and after hearing no protests the fol-
lowing motion was -gut in order:
Moved by Alderman I/IcCutche n that I_rs. A. F. Hudgins be
granted a permit to operate a grocery store in her home at 2103
Fillmore Street.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.
oved by Alderman Spoonts that 0. R. Reeves be granted a
permit to install gasoline pumps in f rort of his garage located at
2505 of Holliday Street.

I.-oved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1042 be rassed
on its first reading.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried by the follow-
ing vote:

Moved by Alderman Prothro that the rules reouiring ordinances
to be read on three separate days be suspended and an emergency declared.

Nays: None.
Iv1oved by Alderman Prothro that Ordinance No. 1042 be passed on
its second reading.

Moved by Alderman Eddleman that Ordinance No. 1042 be passed on
its third and final reading and be adopted as read.

Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the Mayor be authorized to
dedicate Section A of Lakeview Cemetery as a.. public cemetery, and the
plat of same be approved - the description being
"East one-half of Block 22, League 1, Denton County
School Land, located apuroximately 7E miles South-
west of the City Limits."

Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the Treasurer be .instructed to
make the following transfers of funds representing the value of labor and
su-plies furnished various departments by the Street Department during the
period May lst, to October 31st, 1930.
