The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita galls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The 14inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
coved by Alderman Eddleman that the Erlanger Booking Agency
of New York City be allowed to use the Auditorium for"the staging of
the play "Strange Interlude" on December 15th for a rental fee of
j �125.00.

Moved by Alderman Eddleman that the application of Lars. A. H.
Hudgins for a permit to operate a grocery store in her home located at
2103 Filmore Street be received, and the City Clerk be instructed to
give notice by publication of a hearing to be heard at 7:30 P. M. Dec-
ember lst, 1230, in the Council Chamber in the memorial Auditorium
for the purpose of nearing protests.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the City Manager be permitted
to be out of the City on wriday and Saturday, November 2Sth and 29th.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
