The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present

W. E. McBroom, City Clerk

The L:inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
IAoved by Alderman McCutchen that W. Al. Beddow be granted a
permit to erect a Continental triangle sign between the sidewalk and
curb at 1305 Eighth Street, provided that if the sign becomes obiect-
ionable it will be removed upon order of the Board of Aldermen, and
that said W. A. Beddow and the Continental Cil Company shall hold the
City of �,ichita Falls harmless from any damages that may accrue by
virtue of the erection of this sign.
Yotion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
Dr. 0. T. Yimbrough appeared before the Council in the
interest of the Open Forum requesting that this organization be al-
lowed to use the Auditorium without charge for eight free lectures.
After careful consideration, the following motion was put in order:
:: oved by Alderman Harvey that the request of the Open Forum
be granted, and that they be allowed to use the Auditorium without
charge for eight Sunday afternoons for free lectures beginning Novem-
ber 23rd, 1930, and ending April 5th, 1931.
Potion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
Moved by Alderman NcCutchen that the Tax Collector be
authorized and instructed to reduce the assessed building value
4$200.00 on lot 2, Block 15, Skinner Addition, owned by Mrs. Y. I:`.
Rollins, to correct error made by the Tax Department during the ,nears
1929 and 1930.
