Min 11/03/1930Wichita Falls, Texas emorial Auditorium Building November 3rd, 1930 The Board of Aldermen of the City of 'ichita "alls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: Walter Nelson, Jr., Yayor J. N. Prothro, E. H. Eddleman, X R. 0. Harvey, X Aldermen C. E. McCutchen, X J. M. Spoonts, X G. D. Fairtrace, City I'anager T. E. YcBroom, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney The Yinutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Yoved by Alderman Harvey that the application of Garland Ballard and V. 1. Johnson for a permit to operate a public dance hall on the second floor of the building located at 914 Indiana Avenue be received and referred to the City h-anager with authority to approve issuance of the license, if conditions permit. Lotion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried. Yoved by Alderman Eddleman that the City Manager be authorized to grant a permit to the Cities ,Service Oil Company for tre installation two pumps and underground tanks at 505 North Broadway, if the 1 cation is satisfactory and they comply with all regulations governing same. T'otion seconded byl Alderman ?'cCutchen and carried. A committee of Indiana Avenue property owners appeared be- fore the Council requesting that plans be made for the paving of the center parking of Indiana Avenue from Sixth Street to Front Street. No action was taken. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the depository bond of the Security National Bank in the amount of .1250,000.00 made by the Southern Surety Company of New York be approved. h:otion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried.
