The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in { regular session on the above date with the following members present: Walter Nelson, Jr . , Mayor J. N. Prothro, E. H. Eddleman, X C. E. McCut c he n, X Aldermen R. 0. Harvey, X G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager W. E. McBro om, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The hearing on the application of Mrs. L. B. S aye for a permit to establish a grocery store in her home at 1701 Collins Avenue was called and after hearing all protests, Mrs. Saye was informed no action could be taken on account of this property being restricted against the operation of a business enterprise in her deed. Moved by Alderman Eddleman that Albert Phelps be granted a permit to operate a miniature golf course in the building located at 815 Scott Avenue. Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried. Moved by Alderman Eddleman that a warrant be drawn in favor of C. Edgar Honnold of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for $4,700.00 to cover part payment of expense in connection with refunding Series 1930-A and 193D-B Bonds, in the amount of $640,000.00 dated August loth, 1930. Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried. ORDINAICE NO.1041 AN ORDINANCE LEVYING, ASSESSIEG AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXA- TION IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR A. D. 1930 AND LEVYING AN OCCUPATION TAX ON ALL OCCUPATIONS TAXkBLE UNDER THE LATS CF THE STATE OF TEXAS AND THE CHARTER AND ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Moved by Alderman Prothro that Ordinance No. 1041 be passed on its second reading. Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried by the fol- lowing vote: Yeas: Aldermen Prothro, McCutchen, Harvey and Eddleman. Nays: None. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried. The Board of Alder m° n then adjourned. READ AID APPROVED this the 13th day f October 1930.
