The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Linutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the application of Ralph
Hines for a permit to construct and operate a gasoline filling station
on the Northeast corner of Seventeerth and Lamar Streets be received
and the City Clerk be instructed to give notice by publication of a
public hearing to be held at 7:30 P. Y. June 30th, 1930, in the Council
Chamber in the Yemorial Auditorium for the purpose of hearing protests.
T',otion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried.
Moved by Alaerman McCutchen that the City Manager be granted
leave of absence on June 27th ani 28th for the purpose of making a
trip to Dallas.
I.'otion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
An ordinance regulating speed and noise of railroad eng�nes
using grade crossing in the corporate limits was presented by W
WEEKS, "end, after discussion, the following motion was put in order:
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that the proposed ordinance
regulating speed and noise of railroad engines using grade crossings
in the corporate limits be referred to the City Attorney for examin-
ation and report as to validity.
Motion seconded by Alaermmn EcCutchen and carried.
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
