The Board of Aldermen of the City of V ichita "ells met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager,

Thelbert Martin, City Attorney.
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the app'_ication of R. A.
Covington for a permit to construct a building at 2226 Brook Avenue
to be used for a delicatessan be received, and the City Clerk be
authorized to give notice by publication of a public hearing to be
held at 7:30 P. M. June 2nd, 1930, in the Council Chamber in the
Memorial Auditorium for the purpose of hearing protests.
Motion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the City Manager be granted
leave of absence for one day to attend the est Texas Chamber of
Commerce at Abilene.
Motion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried.
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that Alderman Harvey be granted
two weeks leave of absence.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.
Moved by Alderman Harvey that the Mayor be granted leave of
absence from the next meeting to be held on June 2nd, 1930.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
Moved by Alderman McCut chen that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
