The Board of Aldermen of the City of ichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Linutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
roved by Alderman Hervey that the application of Maskat
Temple for a permit to sponsor the Morris and Castle Shows for one
week beginning May 5th without tax be referred to the City Manager
with authority to act in accordance with past practice.
Notion seconded by alderman Spoonts and carried.
Loved by Al derma n Prothro that the application of the
Peoples Ice Company requesting a permit to construct a business
building on the Northeast corner of Eleventh and Broad Streets be
received, and the City Clerk be instructed to give notice by publi-
cation of a public he ari ng to be held in the Council Charmer in the
-emorial Auditorium at 7:30 P. Y. I1iey 12th, 1930, for the purpose
y of hearing protests.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.

DEPARTLENT FOR ELEVEN MONTHS, BEGINNING MAY 1FT, 1930, AP?D ENDING
MARCH 31ST, 1931, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

on its first reading.

Moved by Alderman Harvey that the Mayor be authorized to
represent this City at the regular annual meeting of the League of Texas
Municipalities to be held at Austin on Ttay 15th and 16th.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.

Motion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried.
The Board -of Aldermen then adjourned.
