Min 03/17/1930+i4 Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium Building March 17th, 1930 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: J. W. Akin, Mayor, J. M. Spoonts, J. W. Hunt, J. H. Patton, Aldermen, R. 0. Harvey, C. E. McCutchen, G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager, W. E. McBroom, City Clerk, Thelbert Martin, City Attorney. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the City Treasurer be authorized and directed to transfer the sum of $37,500.00 from the General and ;Water funds to the Interest and Sinking fund to cover bonds maturing November 1, 1930, as follows: From To Water Fund $5,000.00 Refunding Waterworks Series C Sinking Fund $4,000.00 Refunding Waterworks Series C-1 Sinking Fund 1 000.00 General " 32,500.00 Incinerator Refunding Series D-1 1,000. Park Refunding Series E-1 1,000.00 Street Im:rovement Refunding Series B 5,000.00 Street Im.rovement Refunding Series B-1 1,000.00 Sewer Refunding Series 5 5,000.00 Sewer Refunding Series G 9,000.00 Seaver Refunding Series G-1 1,000.00 Sewer Refunding Series A 6,000.00 Sewer Refunding Series A-1 1,000.00 Hospital Refunding Series F 1,000.00 Hospital Refunding Series F-1 1,000.00 Park Refunding Series E 500.00 Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried. Moved by Alderman Harvey that the tax valuation for the year 1929 on Lot 1, Block 11, Skinner Addition, owned by E. L. Buelow, remain as fixed by the Board of Equalization. Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried. 1465 Moved by Alderman Harvey that the application of Jack Ballard for the transfer of the dance license from a location near the Holliday Creek Bridge on the Henrietta Road to the Mack Thomas Building on Scott Avenue be referred to the City Manager with authority to act. Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried. The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
