Y The Kinutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the decision of the Board of Appeals or Review upholdirg the action of the Board of Aldermen in denying a permit to J. H. Allison for the erection of a gasoline filling station on Lots 1 and 2, Block 38, Floral Heights Addition, be received and filed. Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried. Koved by Alderman McCutchen that the Yeyor be authorized to execute a quit claim deed to clear title as to the local taxes on property owned by Carrie Carter described as Lot 13, Block F, Granger & Ballew Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, when the l ity Tax Collector certifies that all delinquent taxes against this property have been paid. Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried. Moved by Alderman Hunt that the taxable value for the ; ear 1929 placed on Lots 18 and 19, Block 2, Kemp and Tac1,son Addition, and Lot 8, Block 78, Floral Heights Addition, owned by J. S. Nichols remain as set by the Equalization Board. 1-otion seconded by Alderman Fervey and carried. ORDINANCE NO 1032 AN ORDINANNCE GRANTING THE FORT 1.7CRTH ADD DENVER CITY RAILWAY COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS, LESSEES, ADD ASSIGNS, THE RIGHT TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A STANDARD GAUGE SIDE RAILWAY TRACK UPON AND ACROSS NORTH BROAD - WAY STREET IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, WICHITA COUNTY, TEXAS: Moved by Alderman Harvey that Ordinance No. 1032 be passed on its second reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts anal carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Harvey, Spoonts, Hunt and YcCutchen. B Nays: None. Yloved by Alderman Harvey that due to the fact that all property in the 1600 block on Lucille Avenue having been assessed on the same unit basis, the value remain the same as set by the Equalization Board for the year 1929. Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried. Moved by Alderman L-cCutchen that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried. The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
