Min 12/14/1931101- Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium Building December 14, 1931 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor J. N. Prothro, Z R. 0. Harvey, X Aldermen C. E. McCutchen, X V. R. Smitham, City Manager W. E. 11cBro om, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Moved by Alderman Harvey that the application of R. L. Ward for a permit to construct a frame building to be used for the opera- tion of a grocery store at House No. 1305 Eleventh Street be re- ceived and notice be given by publication of a hearing to be held at 7:30 P.M. December 21, 1931, in the Council Chamber in the Memorial Auditorium for the purpose of hearing protests. Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the City Treasurer be in- structed to transfer $15,000.00 from the Water Fund to be placed to the credit of the following funds: General Fund - $ 5,000.00 Street Fund 10,000.00 Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.
