regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
ORDINANCE NO.1078
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TIME OF THE REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE
BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by ,Alderman Prothro that Ordinance No. 1078 be passed
on its first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Prothro, Eddleman, Spoonts, Harvey, aryl
McCutohen. ,

Moved by Alderman Prothro that the rules requiring ordinances
to be read on three separate days be suspended and an emergency de-
clared, and Ordinance No. 1078 be passed on its second reading.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A CUSTODIAN FOR THE MEMORIAL AUDITOR-
IUM AND BUILDING BELONGING TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FIXING A
SCHEDULE OF RENTS TO BE CHARGED FOR THE USE OF SUCH AUDITORIUM, AND
AUTHORIZING SUCH CUSTODIAN TO RENT THE AUDITORIUM AND COLLECT SUCH CHARGES,'
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND DECLARDING AN EMERGENCY.

NANCE REGULATING TRAVEL AND TRAFFIC. UPON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF WIC H
FALLS, TEXAS, REGULATING THE USE OF SUGH STREETS,REPEALINGALL OREECNANCES
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING PENALTIES," SO AS TO PROHIBIT PERSONS UN.
THE AGE OF FOURTEEN YEARS FROM OPERATING AND DRIVING MOTOR VEHICLES UPON
THE STREETS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 AND REPEALING SECTION 5 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 511, PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 19TH DAY OF MAY, A. D.
1924, ENTITLED, -AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE THE CO M TRUC TION, ALTERATION,
MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND REMOVAL OF BUILDINGS WITHIN THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS,- SO
AS TO REQUIRE PERMITS TO BE PROCURED FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION,
OR REPAIR WORK ON STRUCTURES WITHIN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS AND
PRESCRIBING FEES FUR SUCH PERMITS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. .

AND NORTH OF BLOCK D IN THE EAST SUNSET HEIGHTS ADDITION AND THAT
PORTION OF HARRISON STREET LYING NORM OF THE SOUTH LINE OF EAST
SUNSET HEIGHTS ADDITION AND SOUTH OF BLOCK B IN EAST SUNSET HEIGHTS
ADDITION, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
