Min 07/20/19319i32 Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium Building July 20, 1931 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: "'alter Nelson, Jr., Mayor C. E. McCutchen, I J. M. Spoonts, X J. N. Prothro, Y Aldermen R. 0. Harvey, X E. H. Eddleman, X W. E. McBroom, Acting City Manager E. W. Irving, Acting City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The Acting City Manager and City Attcrney were instructed to investigate curb filling stations inside the fire limits and re- port at the next regular meeting. Moved by Alderman Harvey that Acting City Yanager McBroom investigate the tearing out of 50 feet of curb by R. A. Covington at 2228 Brook Avenue and report at the next regular meeting. Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried. Moved by Alderman Harvey that the City Treasurer be in- structed to transfer the following funds: Transfer From Transfer To Water Fund - §10,000.00 Street Fund - g10,000.00 Water Fund - $?15,000.00 General Fund - 15,000.00 Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried. Moved by Alderman Harvey that the following advisory com- mittee be appointed to assist and advise in the gas rate controversy: J. T. Montgomery, Chairman Ed Howard Burton Stayton Luke McCrory Homer Lee Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the meeting be adjourned.
