Min 05/04/1931933 Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium Building May 4th, 1931 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: E. H. Eddleman, X J. N. Prothro, X J. M. Spoonts, Aldermen R. 0. Harvey, C. E. McCutchen, X G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager W. E. McBroom, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney Tioved by Alderman McCutchen that Alderman Eddleman be ap- pointed Mayor Protem to act during the absence from the City of Mayor Walter Nelson, Mr. Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried. The Pliinutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Moved by Alderman Spoonts that Ordinance No. 1057, being an ordinance to amend the electrical code providing for the reduction of electrical contractor's renewal license fees from w25.00 to $10.00, per year, be tabled. Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried. Moved by Alderman Prothro that the spplicat ion of R. Rhodes for a permi*o move a gasoline pump from the inside of his lot to the curb at 608 Travis be referred to the City Manager with authority to act. Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried. ORDINANCE NO.1059 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 830, PASSED BY THE BOARD 07' ALDERkIEN OF THE CITY OF -VICHITA FALLS Or' TuE 1R' D"" n-+ OCTOBER, A. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the budget for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 1931, and ending March 31st, 1932, presented by the City Manager carrying estimated revenues of ry981,526.94 and esti- mated expenditures of fi951,268.23, be approved. Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried. ORDINANCE NO. 1058 AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE CITY GCVERTIVIENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1ST, 1931, ,AND ENDING MARCH 31ST, 1932, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Moved by Alderman Prothro that Ordinance No. 1058 be passed on its first reading. Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried by the fol- lowing vote: Yeas: aldermen Prothro, McCutchen, Spoonts & Harvey. Nays: None. Yoved by Alderman McCutchen that copies of the approved budget and appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year beginning April lst, 1931, and ending March 31st, 1932, be furnished the press for publi- cation in full or in part.
