Min 03/30/1931�16 ,r Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium Building March 30, 1931 The Board of Aldermen of the City cf Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor C. E. McCutchen, j R. 0. Harvey, X E. H. Eddleman, X Aldermen J. N. Prothro, Z J. M. Spoonts, Z W. E. McBroom, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Moved by Alderman Eddleman that the request of W. E. George, Chairman of the Citizens Committee, for supervisors for the general election to be held on April 7th be granted and the following persons be approved as supervisors at each of the voting boxes: Central Police Station - J. H. Haigwood Wichita County Court House - H. E. Crain Reagan Junior High School - R. D. Bone South Side Baptist Church Annex - 11. N. Ferrell Alamo School - E. W. Nicholson Avenue H and Giddings Street Fire Station - J. 0. Amman Sam Houston School - J. 1'. Ward Buchanan Street Fire Station - J. T. Cabe P. P. Langford Garage - D. M. Perkins House, 600 North Broadway - J. T. Richey Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried. Moved by Alderman Eddleman that on account of various judges and clerks being unable to serve in the general election to be held on April 7th, the following appointments be made: Lloyd Bland to serve in the place of 0. Abernathy as clerk at the Reagan school box. Pat Hardage to serve in the place of Henry Penix as clerk at the Buchanan Street Fire Station box. W. G. Bralley and M. L. Tittle to serve in the place of J. E. Park and Maurice Cheek at the Alamo School box. George Hodgins to serve in the place of Paul Goldstucker at the City Hall Box, and Paul Goldstucker be transferred to the P. P. Langford Garage box to serve in the place of Milburn Nutt. H. S. Gray to serve as Presiding Judge at the Alamo School in the place of E. S. aVhitelaw J. C. Owen to serve as Presiding Judge at the Giddings Street Fire Station in the place cf Solon Featherston. Irving Deaton to serve as Presiding Judge in the place of H. A. Allen at the Reagan School box. B. L. Baits to serve as clerk in the place of J. C. Owen at the Giddings Street Fire Station box. Motion seconded by Alderman TcCutchen and carried. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for auditing the city books and records for the fiscal year ending March 31st, 1931, in accordance with specifications used in the previous years' audit. Said bids to be received at the office of the City Clerk until 7:30 P. M. April 20th, 1931. i Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried. Moved by Alderman Harvey that the meeting be adjotrned.
