M. Spoonts, I C. E. McCutchen, X R. 0. Harvey, X Aldermen E. H. Eddleman, X J. N. Prothro, Z G. D. Fairtrace, City Eanager W. E. McBroom, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. ORDINANCE NO.1053 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AN'D ABANDONING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK NO. 192 OF THE ORIGINAL TO1W OF WICHITA FALLS, WICHI17A COITT•ITTV, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONNE'Y TO THE UNITED STATES OV AMERICA ALL THE RIGHT, TITLE 'ND TYTEREST OF THE CITY OF ;"JICHITA F ll.S IN AND TO SAID ALLEY; AND DECLARING FNERGENCY. Moved by Alderman Eddleman that Ordinance No. 1053 be passed on its first reading. Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried by the fol- lowing vote: Prothro. Yeas.: Aldermen Eddleman, McCutchen, Spoonts, Harvey and Nays: None. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the rules requiring ordi- nances to be passed on three separate days be suspended and an emer- gency declared. Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried by the fol- lowing vote: Yeas: Aldermen McCutchen, Prothro, Harvey, Spoonts and Eddleman. Nays: None. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1053 be passed on its second reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen McCutchen, Prothro, Spoonts, Eddleman and Harvey. Nays: None. Yoved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1053 be passed on its third and final reading and be adopted as read. T4otion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried by the followin vote: Yeas: Aldermen McCutchen, Eddleman, Harvey, Prothro and Spoonts. Nays: None. Moved by Alderman Eddleman that Sinking Fund Street Improvement Yo. 1 be authorized to purchase $7,000.00 worth of bonds from Sinking Fund ;rater Refunding Series 1930-A. Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the City Treasurer be instructe to transfer $1,800.00 from Bond Interest Fund, Refunding Series E-1 to the sinking Fund of the same issue on account of there being an overage in the interest fund and a shortage in the sinking fund. Motion seconded by Alderman Eddleman and carried. Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried, roved by Alderman McCutchen that the meeting be adj ourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried. The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
