The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Alderman Eddleman presented the following ordinance and
recommended its passage:
ORDINANCE NO. 1049
AN ORDINANCE ORDERING AN ELECTION IN THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO BE HELD ON THE SEVENTH DAY OF APRIL, A. D. 19319 FOR
THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, FOR ADOPTION OR REJECTION, AMENDMFFTS TO THE EXISTING
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, DESIGNATING THE PLACES AT WHICH
SAID ELECTION IS TO BE HELD, APPOINTING PRESIDING OFFICERS THEREOF,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that Ordinance No. 1049 be passed
on its first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried by the
following vote:
Spoonts.
Yeas: Aldermen Eddlemen, McCutchen, Prothro, Harvey and
Nays: None.
ORDINANCE NO.1050
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINaNCE NO. 1046, PASSED AND AP-
PROVED ON THE 2ND DAY OF FEBRUAW, A. D. 1931, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHOR-
IZING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS IN THE AMOUNT CF ONE MILLION ($1,000,000.00)
Dollars, BEARING 4-12fo INTEREST, FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISIN FUNDS TO
CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS AND EXTENSIONS TO THE PRESENT SYSTIMI OF WATER-
WORKS TO PROVIDE AN ADEQUATE AND AVAILABLE WATER SUPPLY AND PLANT FOR
SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY, ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION OF A
TAX SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE INTEREST AND CREATE A SINKING FUND FOR THE
REDEMPTION THEREOF, PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF BOND, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY" AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

City Manager Fairtrace reported on his investigation of the
complaint of Austin Cossey with reference to the street car service
schedule on the north side of the River, and, after discussion, the fol-
lowing motion was put in order:
Moved by Alderman Eddleman that the complaint be referred to
the City Attorney for further investigation.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey end carried.
Moved by Alderman Harvey that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
