The Minutes of the previous meeting were 'read and approved.
ORDINANCE NO 1116
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANY PERSON FROM ENTERING OR ATTEMPT-
IFG TO ENTER ANY PLACE OF PUBLIC AMUSMaNT, INCLUDING THEATERS, P?OVING
PICTURE SHOWS, ATHLETIC EXHIBITIONS, AND OTHER ENTERTAINMENTS WHEN ANY
EXHIBITION, PERFORMANCE, OR ENTERTAINMENT IS BEING GIVEN WITHOUT PAY-
ING THE ADMISSION FEE AND WITHOUT HAVIIG AN ENTRANCE TICKET AND
AGAINST THE CONSENT OF THE OWNER, LESSEE, AGENT, OR MANAGER THEREOF,
PRESCRIBING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that Ordinance No. 1116 be passed
on its first reading.

INDECENT ACT OR CONDUCT TO DISTURB THE AUDIENCE AT ANY PLACE OF
AMUSEMENT, SHOW, THEATER, EXHIBITION, OR OTHER LAWFUL ASSEMBLY OR
MEETING, PRESCRIBING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF SUCH ORDI NAICE,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Harvey that Ordinance No. 1117 be passed

ORDINANCE NO 1114
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13 OF ORDINANCE NO. 511,
PASSED ZTD APPROVED ON THE 19TH DAY OF MAY, A. D. 19241 SO AS TO PRO-
HIBIT THE ERECTION OF ALL METAL BUILDINGS WITHIN THE FIRE LIMITS, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1114 be pass
on its third and final reading and be adopted as read.

ORDIIUTCE NO 1115
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 538, PASSED
AND APPROVED ON THE 15TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, A. D. 1924, BY ADDING TO
SAID SECTION PARAGRAPH 11 TO PROVIDE FOR PERIODIC INSPECTION OF ALL
PUBLIC AND MERCANTILE BUILDINGS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1115 be
passed on its third and final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen McCutchen, Prothro, Spoonts, Bridwell, and
Harvey.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Harvey that the following apprications for
chauffeurs' permits be approved.:

Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the Railroad Commission
be requested to increase the bond of the Municipal Gas Company in
the gas rate controversy in which the rate as set forth in Ordi-
nonce No. 1067 is involved, from $60,000.00 to $300,000,00.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the Texas Electric Service
Company be requested to reduce their charge for electric current
furnished the Wichita General Hospital from the present rate of
$2.00 net per month per Contract Horsepower which
""2.00 entitles Consumer to use during such month
20 Kilowatt hours per Contract Horsepower for
each of the first 500 Contract Horsepower, and
40 KPH for each Contract Horsepower in excess
of the first 500 Contract Horsepower.
4 0 net per Kilowatt hour for the next 25 Kilowatt
hours per Contract Horsepower, providing same
is not less than 2500 Kilowatt hours.
2 ¢ net per Kilowatt hour for the next 6000 Kilowatt
hours used per month.
1 ¢ net per Kilowatt hour for all energy used during
month in excess of the above stated amounts.
to a flat rate of 2¢ per Kilowatt hour.
