regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The Mayor announced the appointment of a Charities Commiss-
ion created by Ordinance No. 208 composed of the following citizens:

J. B. Price,
W. D. Cline,
John 0`Donohue,
A. E. Belly,
Roy B. Jones,
L. H. Estes,
C. J. Coffey,
Pat Simmons.
ORDINANCE NO 1114
AN ORDINANCE AME[dDING SECTION 13 OF ORDINANCE NO. 511,
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 19TH DAY OF MAY, A. D. 1924, SO AS TO
PROHIBIT THE ERECTION OF ALL METAL BUILDIM S WTTHIN THE FIRE LIMITS,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGMTCY.
Pdoved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1114 be
passed on its first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried by the
f ollowi ng vote:
Yeas: Aldermen McCutchen, Prothro, Harvey, Spoonts, and
Bridwell.
Nays: None.
ORDINANCE NO. 1115
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 538, PASSED
AND APPROVED ON THE 15TH DAY OF SEPTE[VIBER, A. D. 1924, BY ADDING TO SAID
SECTION PARAGRAPH 11 TO PROVIDE FOR PERIODIC INSPECTIONS OF ALL PUBLIC
AND MERCANTILE BUILDINGS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that Ordinance No. 1115 be passed
on its first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
McCutchen. Yeas: Aldermen Prothro, Bridwell, Spoonts, Harvey, and
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the city taxes on the follow-
ing described lots occupied by the High School Athletic Stadium be re-
mitted:
