The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:
Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor

J. M. Spoonts, X
V. R. Smitham, City Manager
W. E. McBro om, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, City Attorney
The Minutes of the previous meetingswere read and approved.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that Thomas Simmons be denied
a permit to operate a public dance hall near the Holiday Creek Bridge
on the Fort Worth Highway.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the application of Walter
J. Daugherty for a permit to erect and operate a gasoline filling
station at House No. 512 Austin Street be received, and the City
Clerk be instructed to give notice by publication of a public hear-
ing to be held at 7:00 P. M. October 17, 1932, in the Council
Chamber in the Memorial Auditorium for the purpose of hearing pro-
tests.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
