The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the New Ice Company be granted
a permit to use a space size 10 x 10 feet on Burnett Street adjacent to
their plant for a period of two months for the purpose of testing an
ice vending machine; provided that said ice vending machine shall be
removed promptly at the expiration of said two months period.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
ORDINANCE NO.1098
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 331, PASSED AND APPROVED
ON THE 8TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, A. D. 1920, EI\TITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE
LICENSING AND REGULATION OF AUTOMOBILES FOR HIRE AND PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF AND DECLARING AN EIIAIRGENCY," BY
AMENDING SECTION 5 OF SAID ORDINANCE, FIXING RATES, AND BY ADDING TO
SAID ORDINANCE SECTIONS 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, and 7E, PROVIDING FOR CHAUF-
FEUR°S LICENSE, AND DECLARING AN EIIIERGEICY, ETC.
Moved by nlderman Harvey that Ordinance T_To. 1098 be passed
on its first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Harvey, Bridwell, Prothro, and Spoonts.

ORDINANCE NO.1097
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE BOARD OF AI.DER1=, T OF THE CITY
OF VriICHITlA FALL IJEET ONLY TWICE DURING THE MONTH OF AUGUST OF EACH YEAR
ON THE FIRST AND THIRD MONDAYS OF SAID MONTH, BEGINNING AUGUST, 1932, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that Ordinance No. 1097 be passed on
its first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Spoonts, Bridwell, Prothro, and Harvey.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that the City Treasurer be instructs
transfer 413,855.00 from the Water Fund to the Water Bond Interest Fund
to cover interest coupons due and payable on August 10, 1932 as follows:
Waterworks Refunding Bonds, Series 1930-A Coupons $60255.00
Waterworks Refunding Bonds Series 1930 B Coupons 79600.0C

6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 998, PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 24TH DAY OF SEPTERBEI
A. D. 1928, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND RELATING TO THE
ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS AND TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS IN THE VARIOUS
DEPARTI47ENTS OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT TO BE KNOWN AS TIM "ADMINISTRA-
TIVE CODE," AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that Ordinance No. 1099 be passed
on its first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried by the follow-
ing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bridwell, Harvey, Spoonts, and Prothro.
Nays: None.
IVtoved by Alderman Bridwell that the City Attorney be instructed
to prepare an ordinance providing for refunding of bonds maturing during
the year 1932 and 1933, excluding li"aterworks Bonds.
Motion seconded b; Alderman Harvey and carried.
Moved by Alderman Harvey that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
