The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:
Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor
J. S. Bridwell,
J. M. Spoonts,
J. N. Prothro, X Aldermen
C. E. McCutohen, X
V. R. Smitham, City Manager
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, City Attorney
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read -and approved.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that the Equalization Board be
authorized to reduce real estate property values an additional 10%
for the year 1932.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell at the Tax Department be
authorized to accept pert payment of current taxes, as well as de-
linquent taxes, and that such tax payer making these payments be
exempt from interest and penalty on that portion of tax paid.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spoonts that no meeting be held on
Monday evening, July 25, and that the City Attorney be instructed
to prepare an ordinance providing for only two meetings to be
held during the month of August of each year.
Motion seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that th meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman PJMcCutchean and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
