The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:
Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor
C. E. McCutchen, X
J. 11. Spoonts, X
J. N. Prothro, Z Aldermen
J. S. Bridwell, X
R. 0. Harvey, X
V. R. Smitham, City Manager
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, City Attorney
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The returns from the general city election held on April 5
were received and canvassed.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the following resolution
be adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Harvey.
Yeas: Aldermen VIcCutchen, Spoonts, Prothro, Bridwell and
Nays: None.

WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, held at the regular meeting place
in the Memorial Auditorium Building in said city, on the llth day of
April, 1932, at which a quorum was present, came on to be considered
the returns of the city election held on April 5, 1932, f or the pur-
pose of electing a Mayor and two Aldermen for the City of Wichita
Falls, and
WHEREAS, after canvassing the returns of said election, it
was found that it was duly and legally held in all respects, and that
there were cast at said election 2476 votes, and that

J. S. Bridwell received 2338 "
For Alderman Position #5
J. N. Prothro received 2316 "

Moved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1090 be
passed on its third and final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen McCutchen, Harvey, Bridwell, Spoonts, and
Prothro.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
