The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
ORDINANCE NO. 1088
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 241, ENCITLED "AN ORDI-
NANCE REGULATING THE SALE OF FRUITS, BERRIES, VEGETABLES, AND OTHER
SIMILAR PRODUCTS," PASSED AND APPIUVED ON THE 1ST DAY OF MARCH, A. D.
1917, SO THAT PLACES OF BUSINESS HANDLING FRUITS, BERRIES, VEGETABLES,
AND OTHER SIMILAR PRODUCTS JTALL NOT BE RE4UIRED TO KEEP THEIR PLACES
OF BUSINESS SCREENED OR USE ELECTRIC FANS IN LIEU THEREOF BETWEEN THE
1ST DAY OF NOVEMBER AND THE 15TH DAY OF MARCH OF EACH AND EVER' YEAR,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1088 be
passed on its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen McCutchen, Spoonts, Prothro, Harvey, and
Bridwell.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that the rules requiring ordi-
nances to be passed on three separate days be suspended, and an
emergency declared, and Ordinance No. 1088 be passed on its third
and final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spoonts and carried by the
following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Prothro, Spoonts, Harvey, Bridwell and
McCutchen.

ORDINANCE NO. 1089
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PLACING OF POSTERS, SIGNS, OR
OTHER ADVERTISEMENTS OF ANY NATURE UPON THE WALLS, DOORS, WINDOWS, OR
ANY PART OF ANY BUILDING INSIDE OR OUTSIDE WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FAILS, TEXAS, WITHOUT FIRST PROCURING PERMISSION
SO TO DO FROM THE OWNER OF SUCH BUILDING, PRESCRIBIND A PENALTY AND DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that Ordinance No. 1089 be passed
on its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried by the follow -
ing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Prothro, Harvey, Bridwell, McCutchen and
Spoonts.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the rules requiring ordi-
nances to be passed on three separate days be suspended and an emergency
declared, and Ordinance No. 1089 be passed on third and final reading
and be adopted as read.

Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
