Min 01/11/1932Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium Building January 11, 1932 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: Walter Nelson, Jr., Ilayor J. M. SPOONTS, j C. E. McCutchen, X R. 0. Harvey, X Aldermen J. S. Bridwell, X J. N. Prothro, X V. R. Smitham, City Manager W. E. McBroom, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. ORDINANCE NO 1085 AN ORDINANCE RELEASIID & RliMITTING ALL PENALTIES AND INTEREST ACCRUED ON ALL TAXES DUE THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS AMID DELINQUENT UP TO AND INCLUDING DECEMBER 29, 1931, PROVIDED SUCH TAXES ARE PAID ON OR AFTER DECEMBER 29, 1931, AND ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 31, 1932, AND DECLAR- ING AN EMERGENCY. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that Ordinance No. 1085 be passed on its second reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried by the follow- ing vote: Yeas: Aldermen McCutchen, Harvey, Bridwell, Prothro, and Spoont s . Nays: None. Moved by Alderman McCutchen that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried. The Board of Aldermen then adjourned. READ AND APPROVED this the 18th day of January 1932.
