The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular called session at 6:00 o'clock on the above date in the Council
Room in the Memorial Auditorium with the following members present:

ORDINANCE NO.1131
AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE CITY
GOVERNMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 1933, AND ENDING
MARCH 31, 1934, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
The ordinance was read in full by the Mayor
Moved by Aldermen 11yers that Ordinance No. 1131 be passed on
its first reading.

Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried by the follow -
Yeas: Aldermen 11yers, Prothro, Fox, Bridwell, and Deaton.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Myers that the rules requiring ordinances
to be read on three separate days be suspended and an emergency de-
clared and that Ordinance No. 11ZI be passed on its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried by the follow-
ing vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Myers, Deaton, Bridwell, Prothro, and Fox.
Nays: None.

Moved by Alderman Bridwell that Ordinance No. 1131 be
passed on its third and final reading and that the Board of Alder-
men recommend to the Board of Equalization that taxable values on
real estate, both land and improvements, be reduced 10% under
assessments for the year 1932.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried by the
following vote:
Myers.
Yeas: Aldermen Bridwell, Deaton, Fox, Prothro, and
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
