The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met
in regular session on the above date with the following members
present:
Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor
Raymond M. Myers,
Leon L. Deaton, X

V. R. Smitham, City Manager
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, City Attorney
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved.
A public hearing with reference to the application of the
Fundamentalist Baptist Church for a permit to erect a church build-
ing at the corner of Avenue C and Bell Street was called. After
hearing no protests the following motion was put in order:
Moved by Alderman Prothro that the Fundamentalist Baptist
Church be granted a permit to erect a church building at the corner
of Avenue C and Bell Street.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried.
Moved by Alderman Myers that Lewis Osborn be granted a
chauffeur's permit.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fox and carried.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that the City Clem be instructed
to advertise for bids for ambulance service for bne year from April
25, 1933; said bids to be received at 7:30 P. M. April 24, 1933.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried.

AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT CF
THE CITY GOVERNMENT UTTIL THE FINAL ADOPTION OF A BUDGET AND PAS-
SAGE OF A GENERAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING
APRIL 1, 1933, AND ENDING MARCH 31, 1934, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION CORRECTING THE DESCRIPTION OF THE BONDS REFUNDED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 1111, PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 5TH DAY OF OCTOBER,
A. D. 1932.
WHEREAS, THE BONDS REFUNDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1111, PASSED AND
APPMVED ON THg 5TH DAY OF OCTOBER, A. D. 1932, DESCRIBED SAID BONDS AS
STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 7, SANITARY SEWER BONDS, SERI ES5, AND
PUBLIC BUILDING BONDS, SERIES 21
AND WHEREAS, THE CORRECT DESCRIPTION OF SAID BONDS IS STREET
IMPROVEMENT' BONDS, SERIES 1925, SANITARY SEWER BONDS, SERIES OF 1925,
AND SANITARY SEWER BONUS, SERIES 1925.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1111, passed and approved on
the 5th day of October, A. D. 1932, wherein the bonds refunded by said
Ordinance are described as Street Improvement Bonds, Series 7, Sanitary
Sewer Bonds, Series 5, and Public Building Bonds, Series 2, be and the
same is hereby changed to hereafter read as Street Improvement Bonds,
Series 1925, Sanitary Sewer Bonds, Series of 1925, and Public Building
Bonds, Series 1925.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 17th day of April, A. D. 1933.
Moved by Alderman Myers that all proposals for engineering
service in connection with the municipal light and power plant be re-
jected with a view of reconsideration of this proposition at a later
date.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.

It was stated that the purpose of the meeting was to have
a statement from representatives of the electric company with refer-
ence to further reduction in light and power rates.
The Council immediately went into executive session.
The Council then went out of executive session.
