The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

V. R. Smitham, City Manager
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert IIartin, City Attorney
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The public hearing with reference to the application of the
Star Bakery for a hermit to establish a bakery at 1606 Bluff was held
and after hearing no protests the following motion was nut in order:
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the Star Bakery be granted
a permit to extablish a bakery at 1606 Bluff Street.
Motion seconded by Alderman ^rothro and carried.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that the following applications
for chauffeurs' permits be approved:
Ed B. Lvnskey, 1100 Burnett
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the Council ratify and
approve the action of the joint meeting of the City Council and
Commissioners' Court in the appoint?re nt of C. J. Barnard as the fifth
member of the Board of Managers of the Wichita General Hospital for a
term of tWo years beginning January 1, 1933.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the hearing on the demand
of the City Council for lower telephone rates be continued until
March 6, 1933, for the purpose of ..iv'n ee,' lei ne Cam--,^mr ti id

investment in Wichita Falls.

Moved by Alderman Prothro that the Mnvor be authorized to
sign a contract with Dan Boone for special legal service in connection
with the tax suit of the City against the Taxman Refining Com-any.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
