The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met
in regular session on the above date with the following members
present:
Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor
Raymond M. Myers,
Leon L. Deaton, X
George D. Fox, X Aldermen
J. N. Prothro, X
V. R. Smitham, City Yanager
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, City Attorney
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and
app roved.
Moved by Alderman Pryers that the following applications
for chauffeurs, permits be approved:
Vernon Ragland
James Bailey
Lonnie Davis
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that the following resolution
be adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Myers and carried by the
following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Deaton, Myers, Prothro, and Fox.
Nays: None.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, BY RESOLUTION DATED THE 1ST DAY OF MARCH, A.D.
1934, AN ELECTION WAS CALLED IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS TO BE
HELD ON THE 3RD DAY OF APRIL, A.D. 1934.
AND WHEREAS, SAID RESOLUTION DESIGNATED HOUSE NUMBER
600 NORTH BROADWAY IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS AS THE VOTING
PLACE FOR VOTERS RESIDING IN WICHITA COUNTY`S VOTING PRECINCTS
NUMBERS 13 AND 41; AND WHEREAS, SUCH HOUSE HAS BEEN DESTROYED BY
FIRE AND IT IS NECESSARY TO MOVE SAID VOTING BOX FROM 600 NORTH
BROADWAY TO 607 NORTH BROADWAY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:

SECTION 1.
That house No. 607 North Broadway in the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, be and the same is hereby designated as the voting place'"
for all voters residing within the City of Wichita Falls in and within
the boundaries of Wichita County's voting Precincts Nos.. 13 and 41 in
the general municipal election to be held on April 3, 1934.
PASSED AND APPROVED this, the 26th day of March, A.D. 1934.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that'the following substitutes and
extra clerk for the general election to be held on April 3 be ap-
pointed:
Geo. T. Henderson, Additional Clerk, 2415 Grant Street Box
Mrs. G. 0. Howery as substitute for Mrs. J. T. Ricks, Avenue H and
Giddings Street Fire Station Boa.
Motion seconded by Alderman Myers and carried.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that the meeting be adjourned. -
Motion seconded by Alderman Myers and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
