The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and
ORDINAYCE NO. 1150
AN ORDINArTCE APPROPRIATIrTG THE ST74 OF THREE THOUSAND
EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY FOUR ($3,864.00) DOILARS OUT OF THE UNAPPRO-
PRIATED BALANCE OF THE WATER FUND OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING PAYMENTS UPON THE RETMBURSEMENT CON-
TRACTS TITH THE WESTMORELAND PARK CO2.?PANY, J. CARUTHERS (WEST-
LAKE DRIVE), BERT KING (RIVERCREST), RAY MASSEY AND W. B.
CHAUNCEY (HIAWATHA BLVD.), AND FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY
SEVEN DOLIARS AND FIFTY NINE CENTS ($5,737.59) TO COVER PAYMENT
OF CERTAIN BONDS NOT HERETOFORE APPROPRIATED FOR .°7HICH MATURED
NOVEMBER 1, 1933, AND DECLARING AN MTERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that Ordinance No. 1150 be
passed on its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried by the
following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bridwell, Deaton, Fox, Prothro, and
Myers.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that the rules requiring ordi-
nances to be read on three separate days be suspended, an emergency
declared, and Ordinance No. 1150 be passed on its third and final
reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Myers and carried by the
following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Deaton, Myers, Prothro, Fox, and Bridwell.
Nays: None.

ORDINANCE NO. 1151
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1, PARTS OF SECTION 3, SECTION
49 SECTION 6 AND PART OF SECTION 13 OF ORDINANCE NO. 915, PASSED AND AP-
PROVED ON THE 1STH DAY OF JULY, A. D. 1927, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION AID MAINTENANCE OF SIGNS OVER THE STREETS,
SIKEWATKS AND ALLEYS, AND ON TOP OF BUILDINGS, AND AT OTHER PLACES IN
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY; REPEALING
ORDINANCES NOS. 172, 349, 418 AD?D 444, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFIC`f' WITH SAME,- IN ORDER TO ALLOW THE ERECTION OF ALL
METAL SIGNS IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that Ordinance No. 1151 be passed on
its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fox and carried by the following
vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Deaton, Fox, Prothro, Myers, and Bridwell.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the rules requiring ordinances
to be read on three separate days be suspended, an emergency declared,
and Ordinance No. 1151 be passed on its third and final reading and be
adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried by the
following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bridwell, Prothro, Myers, Fox, and Deaton.

Moved by Alderman'Bridwell that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
